The project is based on the already established research and pedagogical cooperation between the Department of Special and Inclusive Education, Faculty of Education, University of West Bohemia and the Institute on Community Integration (ICI) Research Center, School of Education and Human Development, University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. The project will also take advantage of existing interdisciplinary collaboration between the Tizard Centre and the School of Arts at the University of Kent, Canterbury.

The School of Arts is one of the UK’s top-ranked schools and has an international reputation for innovative research and teaching in drama and theatre, film, art history and media studies. The University of Kent is represented in our collaboration by Prof Julie Beadle-Brown, Ph.D. from the Tizard Centre and Prof Nicola Shaughnessy, Ph.D. from the School of Arts.
